Job Summary
CT Technologist specializing in trauma and stroke care is needed in a healthcare facility located within 100 miles of the candidate's residence. This role involves operating computed tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images, assisting physicians during procedures, and ensuring compliance with safety and clinical protocols. The position offers a dynamic environment focused on acute care and patient safety.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: 2 or more years of experience with trauma and stroke care, Associates Degree or equivalent from an approved Radiologic Technology program, current State/District license, AART RT(R)CT certification, BLS certification.
• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities: Operate computed tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment, adjust technical factors, position patients accurately, review physicians' orders, and obtain pertinent clinical data. Assist physicians during procedures including room preparation, managing contrast reactions, and responding to codes. Schedule and complete exams with correct charge entry.
• Additional Information: Must be willing to work on-call if needed, especially during PTO or sickness coverage, with the possibility of covering 2nd or 3rd shifts. Candidates should be able to operate efficiently within a fast-paced, acute-care setting and adapt to changing operational needs.
