Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position located in the region. The role involves supporting high-risk coronary and neuro interventional procedures, with responsibilities including scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating during complex interventions such as STEMI and neuro procedures. The candidate will work within a fast-paced, acute care setting, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 5 shifts per week, 9 hours per shift, starting at 0700 or 0830 as assigned, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active Illinois license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated, ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), minimum of 1 year of cath lab experience, experience with high-risk coronary interventions and STEMI intervention scrubbing, and ability to scrub and circulate a STEMI.
• Preferred Qualifications: Willingness to learn circulating and monitoring neuro interventions for call.
• Experience or 'Must have' skills: High risk coronary intervention & STEMI intervention scrubbing; ability to scrub/circulate a STEMI; experience with neuro interventional procedures preferred.
• Certifications: ARRT RT-R, BLS, ACLS, Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R).
• Additional Information: Support may be needed for call, with a response time of 30 minutes. Floating to electrophysiology (EP) or interventional radiology (IR) to support different areas may be required. The initial orientation includes 5 shifts within the first week, and shifts are scheduled Monday through Friday with weekend call requirements. No manager or charge nurse is available during non-operating hours.
• EMR/Equipment: Epic and McKesson systems.
• Shift & Scheduling: 5 days per week, 9 hours per shift, with some call and weekend responsibilities.
• Note: This position requires scrubbing for high-risk coronary and STEMI interventions and a willingness to expand skills to neuro interventions.
