Job Summary
Mammographer Location: New York. This position involves performing routine screening and diagnostic mammography within a healthcare facility. The role requires demonstrating competency in mammography positioning, compression, and technique, ensuring high-quality imaging and adherence to department standards.

Job Details

Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Must possess New York State License of Diagnostic Radiography, be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and meet MQSA requirements. Minimum of 2 years minimum of experience as a mammography technologist.
Schedule: Days shift, 7.5 hours per shift, minimum of 37.5 hours per week. Start date: 10/26/2026; end date: 12/26/2026.
Demonstrate competency in mammography positioning, compression, and technique factors.
Ensure all radiographic images are appropriately labeled as specified by the department Standard Operating Procedures.
Evaluate images for technical acceptability and ensure timely transmission to Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
Ensure that all studies performed are completed in the Integrated Diagnostic System (IDX).
Accurately record all required patient tracking information into the tracking system.
Work effectively and efficiently.
