The CT Technologist position in the CT (Computed Tomography) specialty is located at the organizations healthcare facility. Job Details

• Position Description: The CT Technologist performs specialized tasks associated with the operation of CT scanners and related equipment, including administering IV contrast, ensuring equipment functionality, evaluating scans, and transmitting exams to PACS.
• Required Qualifications: High school diploma; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) and ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in Radiography; ARRT in CT within 1 year; Venipuncture certification within 30 days; Zero years of experience; Location requirements as specified; Shift schedule of 12 hours with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Ability to communicate effectively, establish relationships, follow instructions, troubleshoot equipment, and work effectively as a team member. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, congenital/acquired pathology, computer systems, imaging processes, fluoroscopic techniques, patient positioning, and image processing principles.
• Additional Information: Performs routine and specialized CT exams, maintains exam quality, positions patients using immobilization and protective equipment, prepares rooms for maximum utilization, and troubleshoots equipment issues. Submits documentation and credentials as required.
