Job Summary
CT Technologist in Puyallup, WA, specializing in advanced imaging procedures within a Level III Trauma Center. This position involves performing a variety of diagnostic and interventional CT scans in a fast-paced hospital environment, supporting critical patient care needs, and working with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals.
Job Details
- Schedule: Dayshift, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with 2 to 3 call shifts per month.
- Required Qualifications: ARRT CT certification, WA state license, BLS certification, 1 year of acute care experience in a large Level 3+ facility, supporting all general, diagnostic, and interventional CT procedures.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac CT procedures preferred.
- Responsibilities include performing CT scans using Siemens equipment, assisting Radiologists and IR MDs, managing medication administration via Pyxis, and supporting patient care in high-volume environments.
- Additional Information: Support on the unit includes lead CT tech, respiratory therapy, hospitalists, and radiologists. Orientation consists of 1 week in the department, with potential for additional training if needed. The position involves weekend rotation, night shifts, and on-call duties, with a strictly scheduled shift cycle.
