The CT Technologist in the healthcare setting specializes in producing high-quality computerized tomography (CT) studies and assisting with CT-guided procedures. The role involves coordinating imaging services, ensuring safety protocols, and providing patient education across a diverse patient population, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.

- Position: CT Technologist

- Certifications: CA Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) with fluoroscopy within 180 days of hire, ARRT (Radiography), BLS, Venipuncture Certification
- Education/Experience: Successful graduation from a Joint Commission approved School of Radiologic Technology or equivalent experience; at least 2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Schedule: Nights, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, with a start date of 11/03/2026 and end date of 02/02/2027
- Essential Functions:
- Perform quality CT examinations according to physician orders and established protocols
- Coordinate and execute CT procedures including venipuncture and contrast media administration with safety focus
- Accurately document procedures and patient care in electronic health records
- Assess patient safety and cooperation prior to procedures, providing education and addressing concerns
- Use picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) to transmit, archive, and retrieve digital images
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in acute care settings, proficiency with multiple computerized systems, knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and radiation safety standards
- Additional Information: Must demonstrate proficiency in technical factors, cross-sectional anatomy, and regulatory compliance, while working with a diverse patient demographic. Candidates should be prepared to work flexible shifts including day, evening, or weekend hours as needed.
