Job Summary
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) Bradenton, FL. This position involves providing inpatient physical therapy services within a Level II Trauma Center, supporting both acute care and inpatient rehabilitation units. The role requires clinical expertise in evaluating, treating, and discharging patients, with an emphasis on stroke and neuro rehabilitation.
Job Details
- Position Description: Responsible for delivering inpatient physical therapy to support the rehabilitation needs of patients, including evaluations, treatments, and discharge planning. Collaboration with team members and family training are integral parts of the role.
- Required Qualifications: Active Physical Therapist (PT) license, active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, willing to work on an inpatient rehabilitation unit.
- Preferred Qualifications: Hospital or inpatient rehabilitation facility experience, stroke/neuro experience.
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy and is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees. The unit features new equipment and technology, with a supportive team of experienced staff.
