Job Details

• Position Description:
  Provides comprehensive respiratory therapy services, including evaluation, treatment planning, patient education, and mdicine administration using ventilatory equipment, oxygen and aerosol devices, and nebulizer systems. Performs procedures such as chest physiotherapy, suctioning, arterial puncture, and tracheostomy care, while monitoring patient response and ensuring adherence to policies.
• Required Qualifications:
  Certification as a Respiratory Therapist (RT PEDS), valid professional license, and at least 1 year of related experience. Includes education requirements, with no specified location or additional experience needed for this temporary assignment.
• Schedule:
  Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information:
  Performs routine chest X-ray review, electrocardiogram (EKG) testing, pulmonary function studies, and assists with procedures such as bronchoscopy and chest tube placement. Maintains accurate documentation, communicates treatment responses, and ensures proper equipment operation and maintenance. Performs CPR and assists with emergency protocols as per BLS and ACLS guidelines.
