Job Summary
Mammographer Location: Not Specified. This role involves performing routine screening and diagnostic mammography at a healthcare facility. The position requires demonstrating competency in mammography positioning, compression, and technique factors, ensuring images are properly labeled, evaluated, and transmitted in a timely manner to support patient care.

Job Details

Position Description: Perform routine screening and diagnostic mammography. Demonstrate competency in mammography positioning, compression, and technique factors. Ensure all radiographic images are appropriately labeled as specified by the department Standard Operating Procedures. Evaluate images for technical acceptability and ensure images are transmitted to picture archiving and communication system (PACS) promptly. Complete all studies in the Electronic Data Interchange (IDX). Accurately record all required patient tracking information into the tracking system.
Required Qualifications: New York State License of Diagnostic Radiography, registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), minimum of 2 years of mammography experience, proficiency in document imaging and mammography, and compliance with the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) requirements.
Schedule: Days shift, 7.5 hours per day, minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of mammography experience required.
Start Date: 11/09/2026.
End Date: 01/09/2027.
Additional Information: Demonstrates effective and efficient work practices for mammography responsibilities.
