Job Summary
The healthcare provider is seeking a CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist for a full-time night shift position in Salida, CO. This role involves performing radiographic, CT, and MRI procedures with professionalism and accuracy, ensuring patient safety and quality imaging. The ideal candidate must be certified in radiologic technology, specifically with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Must have graduated from an approved ARRT program, current registration by the ARRT (R)(CT) or its equivalent, and a minimum of 2 years CT experience.
• Schedule: Rotating shift, 11.5 hours per shift, minimum 34.5 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include performing quality radiographic, CT, and MRI exams, determining proper techniques, positioning patients, and minimizing radiation exposure in accordance with safety standards.
• Conducts patient transport, obtains consent, and reviews history and allergies to ensure patient safety.
• Maintains sterile techniques and performs procedures in various hospital environments, including operating and emergency rooms.
• Implements safety protocols, including MRI safety questionnaires and patient positioning for optimal imaging results.
• Required clinical skills involve patient care, technical procedures, and adherence to safety standards.
