Job Summary
Pediatrics Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Nashville, TN. This full-time inpatient position involves providing specialized speech and swallowing therapy for pediatric patients from birth through adolescence at a childrens hospital. The role includes conducting evaluations, supporting children with complex medical needs, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Job Details
- Position Description: Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting inpatient pediatric rehabilitation services, including feeding and swallowing therapy, speech-language development, and video-fluoroscopic swallow studies.
- Required Qualifications: Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (from an accredited program), Tennessee SLP License (or eligibility), ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), pediatric feeding/swallowing experience, experience in a childrens hospital setting.
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Support for children with complex needs such as dysphagia, tracheostomy, or traumatic brain injury. Conduct feedings and swallow assessments, document progress, assist with discharge planning, and educate families and caregivers.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
