Job Summary:
The CT Diagnostic Imaging Technologist is based at a healthcare facility and is responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) procedures to support accurate and timely patient imaging. This role involves ensuring adherence to safety standards, patient care, and effective communication with medical staff to optimize diagnostic outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 36 hours per week - Friday, Saturday, Sunday, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
• Required Qualifications: Associate's degree in radiologic technology, NYS Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License with Injection Registered, ARRT (Registered Technologist) certification, BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross), 2 years of related experience.
• Demonstrates the ability to perform CT procedures as requested by referring physicians.
• Adequate radiation safety practices for patients and staff.
• Participates in Radiology Management System functions related to patient procedures.
• Provides patient education as needed.
• Maintains effective communication with referring physicians and radiologist staff.
• Adheres to clinical principles, methods, and procedures during CT procedures.
• Demonstrates attention to detail, collaboration, continuous learning, initiative, judgment, problem-solving, reliability, and technical expertise.
• Cross-training in CT considered, with preferred ARRT CT registration.
