Job Summary
CT Technologist position located in the specified area. This role involves independently performing computed tomography procedures, utilizing established scan protocols including contrast administration. It requires applying specialized technical skills, independent judgment, and expertise in ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of accredited CNMT program; CT registry must be acquired within 18 months of the primary registry acquisition or hire date if already obtained; 2 years of experience; ARRT Certificate; Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC); Basic Life Support (BLS); state license.
• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Demonstrates proper technique in venipuncture and use of power injectors according to protocols.
• Administers PO, rectal, and IV contrast per physician orders and assesses patient risk factors prior to contrast administration.
• Ability to interact compassionately with patients and team members, providing clear communication and proper patient identification protocols.
• Reviews patient history and physician orders, applying departmental protocols to optimize imaging results.
• Ensures accurate documentation, coding, archiving, and billing for procedures performed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
