Description

Monday – Friday (varying shifts of either 7am – 3:30pm or 9:30am – 6:30pm).

No weekends, no call, no holidays

Reviews patient history and physician's orders. Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation. Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s). Ensures proper imaging techniques related to patients age and ability to understand procedure (sight, hearing needs, ability to cooperate) to ensure image quality is successfully obtained. Reviews patient information and interpretation of data to confirm an appropriate plan and intervention specific for age related needs and provision of care.

Job Requirements:

· CT certified and has PET/CT experience

· ARRT – CT

· NNMTCB – CT

· Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and certified in Nuclear Medicine (NM) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
NYS License

· BLS (American Heart Association)

· 2 years’ Experience
