Job Description:
The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department provides care for patients with a variety of conditions ranging from pediatric to geriatric, trauma, stroke, and other high acuity medical issues.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care and treatment to a wide range of patients including trauma, GSW, sepsis, COVID, STEMI, Stroke, and more.
- Work collaboratively with unit support including ER tech, charge nurse, RT, and pharmacy.
Requirements:
- 2 years of ED experience required with first-time traveler considered.
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, CPI/MOAB.
- Skills required: Cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV skills, procedural sedation, blood administration.
- Recent EPIC experience is necessary.
