Job Description:

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department to provide care for patients from neonate to geriatric at a Level III trauma center. Responsibilities include administering medication, managing drips, and assisting with traumas and codes.

Responsibilities:

• Barcode scanning for medication administration
• Manage medication drips and blood product administration
• Triage patients and pass hospital's Triage Test
• Set up chest tubes and arterial lines
• Assist with trauma and code cases
• Perform splinting and manage bipap/vents
• Work in the busiest ED in the state, handle high acuity cases

Requirements:

• Minimum experience of 3 years in a large volume ED with high acuity patients
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC
• Experience with Epic EMR
• Preferred pediatric emergency medicine experience
