Job Description:

Registered Nurse needed for Emergency Department with responsibilities including providing patient care in a high-volume, level 2 trauma center. The candidate will work with available techs in cardiac monitoring and other sections within the ED.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department
• Utilize equipment such as Baxter pumps and GE monitors
• Adhere to patient experience protocols including AIDET and updating patient boards
• Maintain documentation using Cerner system
• Follow scheduling requirements and participate in every other weekend shifts
• Open to floating to all sections within the ED

Requirements:

• 2 years experience in a Level 2 trauma center or comprehensive stroke center
• 1-year experience in the ER setting
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, with ENPC within 90 days of hire
• Ability to work collaboratively and provide real-time feedback
