TRAVEL - RN - Cardiac Stepdown

Job Description:

Registered Nurse needed for the Cardiac Stepdown unit, responsible for providing high-quality care to cardiac patients, monitoring vital signs, and adjusting medications as needed according to protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer cardiac medications including Heparin, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, and Amiodarone drips
• Perform procedures such as chest tube management and wound vac management
• Conduct EKGs as needed
• Provide bedside and hourly rounding, reporting to PCTs of known needs

Requirements:

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Preferred cardiac knowledge and experience
• Proficiency in Meditech-HCA documentation system
• Ability to work every other weekend as per scheduling requirements
