Job Description:

The IR Technologist will work primarily in the Cath Lab & IR unit, handling cases involving coronary procedures, balloon pumps, and Impella devices. Responsibilities include preparing and assisting in interventional radiology procedures and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Performing interventional radiology procedures.
• Collaborating with the cardiology and respiratory therapy teams for patient care.
• Operating advanced imaging equipment, including Merge Hemo, Siemens, and Phillips systems.
• Handling cases such as STEMIs, utilizing equipment like laser, rotablator, nitric oxide, IVUS, Impella, IABP, FFR, and angiojet.
• Providing care to critically ill patients and managing ventilators with the help of respiratory therapists.

Requirements:

• ARRT certification with Fluoroscopy.
• BLS Certification.
• Experience with coronary, balloon pumps, and Impella devices.
• Familiarity with Merge Hemo system is advantageous but not required.
• Completion of all MyJourney modules prior to start date.
