Job Description:
The Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit provides patient care for individuals requiring close monitoring and support. This role involves managing patients with complex medical conditions and high acuity care needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the PCU.
- Administer medications and therapies as needed.
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Requirements:
- 1 year of PCU RN experience required.
- RN, ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
- Experience with high acuity drips, arterial lines, and bipap-airvo preferred.
