Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description:
The registered nurse will work in the Intensive Care Unit providing care for patients with various critical conditions, including CHF, respiratory distress, and surgical recovery. Proficiency in managing complex cases and previous travel assignment experience required.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and managing intensive care patients, including those with chest tubes and on various drips such as diltiazem and nitro.
- Performing dressing changes and wound vac checks.
- Observing patients post-cath procedures, specifically handling TR bands and femoral sheath monitoring, without performing sheath removal.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience.
- Completion of at least 1 travel assignment prior to application.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Experience with patient types including ACS and A-fib RVR; Art line and Impella experience preferred.
- Familiarity with the EPIC EMR system.
