Job Description:

Seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit with strong Tele/cardiac skills and the ability to read strips. The RN will provide care to adults and geriatrics, managing conditions such as cardiac caths, EP studies, and heart-related medical histories.

Responsibilities:

• Manage patient care for PCU level and occasionally standard surgical patients with cardiac history.
• Collaborate with Charge Nurses, Nurse Aids, and Tele/Monitor Techs to ensure comprehensive patient management.
• Titrate and manage drips including Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, and more.
• Utilize RT equipment like Bipap and trachs, troubleshooting as needed.
• Read and interpret patient strips independently.
• Float across units as necessary, maintaining full patient loads.

Requirements:

• Must possess BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience in PCU and ability to read cardiac strips required.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Comfortable with flexible scheduling and every other weekend commitment.
