Job Description:

Seeking a Registered Nurse with ICU experience for a position in a Neuro ICU in Phoenix, Arizona. Applicants must have Level 1 Trauma and EVD experience. The role involves working in a critical care setting with a focus on neuro diagnostics and treatment. Candidates must pass a DYS exam prior to accepting, and comply with specific grooming and uniform policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide critical care to patients with neurodiagnoses including cranial surgeries and spine procedures.
  • Participate in SIMs Lab for skill verification such as Foley catheter insertion and sterile field maintenance.
  • Float to MS/Tele floors as necessary, maintaining a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2 in ICU and 1:4 in Tele.

Requirements:

  • Must have Level 1 Trauma and EVD experience.
  • Minimum of 18 months of Neuro ICU experience, with 3-6 months of travel experience preferred.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • Proficient with Cerner EMR System.
  • Pass a DYS exam with a maximum of 2 attempts allowed.
