Job Description:
The Registered Nurse in the Orthopedics unit provides comprehensive care to patients with musculoskeletal issues, ensuring the implementation of best practices in nursing interventions and patient care. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, and coordinating reliable care delivery, alongside orthopedic procedures such as dressing changes, suture/staple removal, Foley catheter care, NG tubes insertion, and wound vac maintenance and removal.
Responsibilities:
- Dressing changes, suture/staple removal
- Foley catheter management
- NG tube insertion and care
- Wound vac maintenance and removal
Requirements:
- NC License
- BLS certification
- Hospital experience
- Ortho experience
