Job Description:

This unit specializes in orthopedic trauma, spinal surgery, and other elective orthopedic surgical diagnoses. Nurses are part of a department recognized for research and innovation, offering many opportunities for education and professional growth. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills are required, as well as the ability to work as a team player. Experience in a level 1 trauma facility is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Floating/Weekends/Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per Unit Needs
• Adhering to unit needs with a rotating shift schedule

Requirements:

• Must have Orthopedic experience
• 2 years of experience
• RN license (NY only)
• Telemetry Experience Required
• BLS (AHA only)
• ACLS (AHA only)
