Job Title: SMH Level 4 Surgical Tech

City/State: Rochester, New York

Shift: 3x12 Flex, 07:00:00-19:00:00, rotating day/evening/night shift schedules. Can also accommodate 48 hours/week.

Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Description:

Main Operating Room Surgical Tech responsible for providing care in a wide variety of specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma. This role will involve working with two Davinci robots and a transplant program involving livers, kidneys, and hearts.

Responsibilities:

• Provide surgical assistance in a diverse range of specialties
• Operate and assist with Davinci robotic surgeries
• Participate in transplant programs for liver, kidney, and heart transplants

Requirements:

• NBSTSA Certification or 10 years of experience as a Surgical Technician
• Minimum two years of experience in surgical technology
• Operating room experience in a level 1 trauma center preferred
• Able to scrub
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
