Job Description:
The Registered Nurse in the Med/Surg unit is responsible for providing and coordinating patient care, adhering to established standards, evaluating outcomes, and communicating with relevant team members. This role involves working with various patient types including adults, post-surgical patients, strokes, oncology, CHF, COPD, and other medical conditions, utilizing Epic EMR, and potentially floating to other units as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum experience: 2 years
- Consider first-time Traveler? Yes
- Required Licensure/Certifications: BLS, ACLS, must pass tele exam during compliance; PALS preferred
- Skills required: general MedSurg such as chest tubes, trachs, PICC/Midlines/Central lines, Foleys, NG tubes, dressing changes, wound vacs, ostomies, tele
