Job Description:
The Registered Nurse will work in the Oncology Acute Tele T6 unit, providing care for a primarily oncology patient population with some tele med-surg patients. Responsibilities include interpreting EKGs and managing BiPAP/CPAP devices. The RN will be expected to maintain sterile field skills, participate in SIMs Lab training, and float to other MedSurg/Tele units as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care to oncology and tele med-surg patients.
- Interpret EKGs and manage respiratory devices.
- Participate in SIMs Lab training for skills validation.
- Float to other MedSurg/Tele units as required.
Requirements:
- Valid RN license.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- Competency in sterile field maintenance.
- Chemo certification is a plus.
