Job Description:

The RN - Trauma ICU - A4W Trauma Tele position is responsible for providing care in a trauma and adult med-surg environment with a focus on telemetry rhythm capabilities, critical thinking, and time management. The role involves assessing med surg level patients and alerting relevant personnel when acuity levels change, while maintaining good communication and punctuality.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care for trauma and med-surg patients.
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
• Work collaboratively with charge nurse, CNAs, and other team members.
• Administer IV fluids, tube feeds, peg feedings, and IV antibiotics.

Requirements:

• Telemetry rhythm capabilities, critical thinking, and time management skills.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to assess patient conditions and communicate effectively.
• Experience with Cerner EMR system is advantageous.
