Job Description:
Registered Nurse needed for Med Surg unit, responsible for providing patient care and working collaboratively with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a 30-bed unit.
- Collaborate with unit secretaries, techs, and other staff.
- Utilize equipment such as wound vacs, IV pumps, and telemetry.
- Adhere to the scheduling requirements and participate in holiday rotation.
- Float between designated units as needed.
Requirements:
- BLS certification required.
- Proficient in IV starts, NGT placement, wound care, and cardiac rhythm interpretation.
- Experience with lab draws and telemetry.
- Navy scrubs required as uniform.
