Description
Job Summary
This is a 17-week contract position for a CT Technologist. The selected candidate will perform computed tomography (CT) scans on pediatric patients, ranging from newborns to 18 years old, utilizing advanced technology to produce high-quality images.
Shift Details
- Schedule: Thursday - Saturday, 10:00 PM to 8:30 AM
- Weekend rotation: Dependent upon shift taken
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans, ensuring high-quality images are produced.
- Provide exceptional care and communication to pediatric patients and their families.
- Collaborate with medical staff to discuss imaging results and patient needs.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while operating imaging equipment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist preferred, with pediatric experience highly regarded.
- Required Licensure Certifications: ARRT - CT, BLS, and a current WA state license.
Skills Required
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently.
- Patience and kindness towards children and their parents.
Technology/Equipment
Experience with Siemens Definition Edge Biograph mct flow edge (PET/CT scanner) is preferred.
Additional Information
- Free parking available; local light rail may be preferred if parking is challenging.
- This is a newly built Level II trauma facility with 152 total beds, including a 70-bed NICU.
