Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in an acute care setting, focusing on a variety of patients across all age groups.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care with compassion and in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
• Manage care for multiple patients and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Utilize electronic medical records for documentation and patient data management.
• Perform necessary assessments, including triage and vital signs monitoring.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Participate in patient education regarding health management and safety.

Qualifications

• Current RN license is required.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are mandatory.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
• Previous ER experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Availability to work every third weekend and rotating holidays.
• Must be able to self-schedule shifts based on availability; however, no shifts are guaranteed until the schedule is final.

Work Environment

This position is in an emergency department that consists of 27 beds. Aides, EMTs, and paramedics will support nursing staff, and phlebotomy is available for lab draws. The department is equipped to handle a variety of emergency cases, ensuring a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

Additional Information

Individuals will be required to comply with specific policies, including a no artificial nails policy during patient care, and must be within a 50-mile radius. A driver's license is necessary for verification purposes.

Schedule

• Shifts available: 7a-7p, 9a-9p, 11a-11p, 1p-1a, 3p-3a, 7p-7a
• Weekend rotation: Every third weekend
• Holiday rotation: Required
• Floating: Not required
