Physical Therapist

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 467 with an additional 26-bed IRF

Number of Staff: Approximately 40

Staff Type: Physical Therapists (PT)

Patient Ratios: 1:1

Type of Equipment: Treadmill, car simulators, RT300, Bioness systems, BITS

Documentation System: Meditech

Call Requirements: Rotating weekends

General Information

Location: Aventura, FL

Shift: Day shifts available from 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Qualifications

Current BLS certification
Active Physical Therapy license in Florida
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
Capability to work independently

Expected Responsibilities

Conducting 1.5-hour treatment sessions
Participating in team conferences
