Description
Job Description
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing quality patient care by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. The role demands critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning for the safe delivery of care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Demonstrate clinical competencies through ongoing education and professional growth.
- Delegate patient care priorities based on the experience and education of the staff present.
- Supervise and provide direction to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
- Anticipate patient care needs and plan accordingly to ensure safety and quality in care delivery.
Requirements
- Current Arizona Nursing License
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- A minimum of 2 years of related nursing experience
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- Ability to manage a patient care ratio of 6:1
- Willingness to float between multiple locations within the region
Schedule
- Night Shift: 7 PM - 7:30 AM (3/12s)
- 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
