Description

Physical Therapist

General Information

This position is located in a facility with 467 beds, including a newly established 26-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF).

Unit Overview

Staffing: Approximately 40 staff members, specializing in Physical Therapy
Shift Information: Day Shift options from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Patient Ratios: 1:1
Equipment Used: Treadmills, car simulators, RT300, Bioness systems, BITS
Documentation System: Meditech
Call Requirements: Rotating weekends

Typical Responsibilities

Conduct 1.5-hour long treatment sessions
Attend team conferences

Qualifications

Must hold current BLS certification
Active Physical Therapy license in Florida
Preferred experience in Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

Dress Code

Scrub color: Light gray

Experience Requirement

Minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred.
