Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our dynamic team. The role requires a competent professional adept at performing a range of CT exams. This position supports the emergency room volume and requires familiarity with advanced CT technology.

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 148
• Staffing Description: 2-3 staff members on shift.
• Equipment Utilized: GE Revolution 256 Slice, GE VCT 64 Slice CT scanners.
• Documentation System: Meditech, Synapse PACS.
• Scheduling Requirements: Monday – Friday 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM with a lunch break.
• Floating Policy: No floating required.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams with proficiency, supporting patient needs while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Work collaboratively with existing hospital staff to address emergency room volume effectively.
• Stay up to date with scanning protocols and the IV contrast administration policy.

Qualifications

• Required Certification: ARRT RT (R) (CT) with accreditation in CT.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years in CT scanning.
• Skills: Basic CT skills are essential; advanced skills necessary for general procedures.

The required uniform for this position is navy blue.
