Position Description

This position requires competent skills in conducting CT examinations and will support the operations of an emergency room. The role entails working closely with existing staff members in a collaborative environment.

General Information

The position is based in a facility with the following characteristics:

• Beds: 148
• Patient Ratios: Not applicable as this is not a nursing position.
• Unit Staffing: 2-3 staff members will be available on this shift.
• Equipment: GE Revolution 256 slice, GE VCT 64 slice CT scanners.
• Documentation System: Meditech, Synapse PACS.
• Scheduling: Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, including lunch break.
• Floating Policy: No floating will be required.

Patient Experience Requirements

The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing excellent patient experiences through quality imaging and care.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Current certification: ARRT RT (R) (CT) with accreditation in CT.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT examinations.
• Familiarity with basic CT skills is essential.

Procedures Performed

The primary responsibility of this role includes performing CT examinations that support emergency room services.

Dress Code

Required uniform: Navy attire.

Unit Guidelines

Candidate will review unit-specific policies and guidelines, including scanning protocols and IV contrast policies, upon hire.
