Patient Ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4
Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Cerner

General Information

This position requires a detail-oriented and organized professional to work in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The NICU is equipped to handle complex patient needs and is supported by a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

Required Certifications: NRP
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Level III or higher NICU experience
Preferred Certifications: STABLE and NIC-RNC are favorable

Staffing Information

The NICU team consists of:

Day Shift: 18 RNs, 1 charge RN, 2 Respiratory Therapists (RTs), and support staff
Night Shift: 18 RNs, 1 charge RN, 2 Respiratory Therapists (RTs)

Work Expectations

Staff are expected to work every other weekend.

Additional Floating Areas

Opportunities may include floating to Pediatrics, PICU, and Mother-Baby (babies only).
