Job Description
Join a dedicated team in the Stroke & Brain Unit, where you will provide exceptional patient care in a supportive environment. This opportunity involves working with a skilled team in a 16-bed unit focused on telemetry and neurology patients.
Unit Specifics
- Number of Beds: 16
- Patient Ratios: 4:1
- Available Equipment: Welch Allyn Vital Signs Machines, Hoyer lift, Sarah Steady Lift, Telemetry, Bladder Scanner, Doppler
- Documentation System: Meditech
Scheduling Requirements
- 3 shifts per week
- 3-4 weekend shifts required
Floating Policy
Agency and contract staff may be floated to any area where they have demonstrated competency, as allowed by their contract.
Patient Experience Requirements
Experience in telemetry and stroke care is essential.
Qualifications
- Must have certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
- Experience with cardiac drips and telemetry is required
- Neurology experience is preferred
Dress Code
Required uniform: Navy Blue
