Registered Nurse (RN) - CVICU/CCU

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) with a strong background in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) who are also willing to support the Coronary Care Unit (CCU). This position requires expertise in managing patients in a critical care environment, particularly in Day 0 CVICU settings.

Join us in making a positive impact in the community by providing essential care in a smaller, independent hospital setting. Our facility is located between Denver and Grand Junction along the I-70 Corridor.

Housing Opportunities

Newly remodeled studio and small one-bedroom apartments are available within walking distance from the hospital. The accommodations include Wi-Fi, utilities, on-site laundry, and are fully furnished, making them convenient for travelers during their assignment.

Shift Details

12-hour night shifts, primarily from 1900 to 0730
Weekend rotation required
Participation in call rotation is necessary, with a commitment of one call shift every two weeks (if requested due to staffing needs)

Minimum Qualifications

Strong CVICU skills with Day 0 CVICU experience
Active Colorado RN license in good standing
BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
Minimum of three years of RN critical care experience required

Holiday Coverage

Availability for holiday coverage is required.
