Location: Cardiac Cath Lab, Houston, TX
General Information:
- Number of Beds: 3 Rooms
- Number of Staff: 11
- Type of Staff:
- Day Shift: 1 Charge, 3 Technologists, 3 Nurses (4/10 hour shifts)
- Night Shift: 3 On-call Staff
- Patient Ratios: 3 staff per case
- Type of Equipment: Philips, Siemens
- EMR: MERGE Hemo and Meditech Expanse
Qualifications
Skill Set Required:
- Must Have: Interventional experience
- Preferred:
- Electrophysiology (EP)
- Interventional Radiology (IR)
Typical Procedures Performed:
- Electrophysiology Study (EPS)
- Pulmonary Vein Isolation (PVI)
- Permanent Pacemaker (PPM)
- Left and Right Heart Catheterization (LT and RT HC)
- Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
- Interventional Radiology (IR) and Vascular Procedures
Personality Fit
- Willingness to educate and mentor junior staff
Certifications
Required Certifications:
- ARRT
- RCIS
- BLS
- ACLS
Dress Code
- Attire: Surgical scrubs provided
On Call and Weekend Requirements
- On Call Availability: At least 10 shifts per month
