Location: Cardiac Cath Lab, Houston, TX

General Information:

Number of Beds: 3 Rooms
Number of Staff: 11
Type of Staff:
- Day Shift: 1 Charge, 3 Technologists, 3 Nurses (4/10 hour shifts)
- Night Shift: 3 On-call Staff
Patient Ratios: 3 staff per case
Type of Equipment: Philips, Siemens
EMR: MERGE Hemo and Meditech Expanse

Qualifications

Skill Set Required:

Must Have: Interventional experience
Preferred:
- Electrophysiology (EP)
- Interventional Radiology (IR)

Typical Procedures Performed:

Electrophysiology Study (EPS)
Pulmonary Vein Isolation (PVI)
Permanent Pacemaker (PPM)
Left and Right Heart Catheterization (LT and RT HC)
Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
Interventional Radiology (IR) and Vascular Procedures

Personality Fit

Willingness to educate and mentor junior staff

Certifications

Required Certifications:

ARRT
RCIS
BLS
ACLS

Dress Code

Attire: Surgical scrubs provided

On Call and Weekend Requirements

On Call Availability: At least 10 shifts per month
