Description
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cath Lab team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting and demonstrate proficiency in administering moderate sedation, monitoring patients during procedures, and assisting with procedure setup and breakdown.
Shift Information
- Four 10-hour shifts (7 am to 5:30 pm)
- Rotating days off throughout the month
- Call requirements: one weekday per week and one weekend every four weeks
Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for:
- Administering moderate sedation
- Monitoring patients during various procedures
- Assisting with the setup and breakdown of procedures
- Participating in a variety of interventions, including:
- Left heart catheterization
- Right heart catheterization
- Peripheral interventions
- Carotid stenting
- Aortic Aneurysm repairs (AAAs)
- Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
- Device implants
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting is preferred
- Current General Certifications (BLS/BCLS) required
