Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to expectant mothers and their newborns during labor and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care during labor and delivery, ensuring the safety and comfort of mothers and infants.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, promptly recognizing and addressing potential complications.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders and established protocols.
• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on childbirth, postpartum recovery, and newborn care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care throughout the labor and delivery process.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.

Schedule

This position requires night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
