Description
Shift Details
Shifts are scheduled during the day from 5:45 AM to 6:15 PM. There are no on-call requirements. Floating to different units as needed is a requirement, and a block schedule may be possible.
Location
This position is located in city, state. Please note that candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in the medical-surgical and telemetry units.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist with wound care and assess patients for any complications.
- Document all patient interactions and care in the electronic medical record (MEDHOST).
Qualifications
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
- A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a medical-surgical, telemetry, or wound care setting.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Dress Code
Dark navy blue scrubs are required while on duty.

The unit has a total of 45 beds, with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 6:1, ensuring quality patient care.

Please be advised that there is a blackout period for time off requests during December 24-25.
