General Information

• Unit Name: Emergency Department
• Number of Beds: 101
• Patient Ratios: 4:1 typically; up to 7:1 on behavioral holds
• Unit Staffing: Includes technicians, triage staff, and unit clerks available day and night
• Documentation System: Cerner
• Scheduling Requirements: Every other weekend; flexible scheduling based on department needs
• Floating Policy: Must be open to floating within all sections of the Emergency Department
• Patient Experience Requirements: Adhere to AIDET protocol, maintain respectful behavior, and ensure patient updates are communicated

Certifications

Required certifications to be obtained before start date include:

• ACLS
• BLS
• PALS
• TNCC
• CPI
• NIHSS
• ENPC (within 90 days of hire)

Hiring Profile

We are seeking candidates with:

• At least 2 years of nursing experience
• A minimum of 1 year working in an Emergency Department setting
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team and provide real-time coaching and feedback
• Flexibility to cover various areas within the Emergency Department

Dress Code

Required uniform includes navy scrubs.
