Description
Position Summary
The Dual-modality Radiology Technologist is responsible for delivering high-quality CT and X-Ray exams to assist in diagnosis or treatment. This role involves independently performing CT and X-Ray procedures, producing images for interpretation by licensed practitioners. The position supports both outpatient and inpatient settings with a variable schedule.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of a Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited Radiology program or equivalent, with documented competencies in Radiology and CT.
- Montana Licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) advanced certification in CT.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Two (2) years of previous radiology experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in health care-related studies.
Essential Job Functions
- Perform quality CT and X-Ray/fluoroscopic exams and procedures as requested by medical staff.
- Operate with limited supervision while maintaining high attention to detail and responsiveness to customer needs.
- Assist medical staff in other departments during exams and procedures as necessary and appropriate.
- Perform ancillary duties to maintain proper distribution, billing, and archival of exams and procedures.
- Complete documentation of all information required for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams.
- Retrieve written orders and related health information to ensure timely performance and reporting of exams and procedures.

Schedule Requirements
This role requires regular and sustained attendance. The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts.

- Cognitive Skills (Continuously): Learning new tasks and maintaining focus independently.
- Exposures (Continuously): Bloodborne pathogens, radiation, and various chemicals and medications.
Shift Information
8 days on, 6 days off, with work hours from 08:00 to 18:00.
Minimum Years of Experience
2 years of experience in a relevant field.
Certifications / Requirements
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- ARRT certification in CT.
