Shift Information

12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with every other holiday and weekend off.

Minimum Experience Required

2 years of nursing experience.

Unit Description

Join a dynamic Medical-Surgical Unit that also supports a robust Swing Bed Program, occasionally accommodating patients requiring Progressive Care Unit (PCU) level care. We prioritize balancing assignments based on nursing workload and patient care levels, ensuring optimal care delivery:

• Med-Surg patient ratio: 1:5
• Swing Bed patient ratio: 1:5-6
• PCU patient ratio: 1:3-4 (depending on patient needs such as drips)

Nurses with Med-Surg backgrounds will receive support from supervisors for appropriate assignment adjustments.

Licenses and Certifications Required

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
