Job Summary

A dedicated CT Technologist is needed to perform high-quality imaging services within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in computed tomography and a strong commitment to patient care and safety.

Shift Information

• Shift Type: Days
• Shift Length: 10 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Yes, every Friday to Sunday

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans in accordance with established protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physicians.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, including Cerner EMR, Philips iPatient 64, and big bore 16.
• Work in collaboration with the Radiology team in various settings, including OR and ER.
• Participate in departmental orientation and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of CT experience; 1st-time travelers may be considered.
• Required Certifications:
  • BLS (American Heart Association)
  • ARRT Certification
  • Fluoroscopy certification through the state of California
• Experience in a Level II Trauma setting preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; must be a self-starter.

Additional Information

• Common diagnoses: A variety of inpatient and outpatient cases.
• Scrub Color: Teal, unless in the OR, where scrubs will be provided.
• Orientation: 1-2 shifts for departmental training.
• Holidays: Will be discussed during the interview process; candidates should be flexible to work holidays if needed.
