Position Description

We are seeking a dedicated Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. This position offers a dynamic work environment with a commitment to high-quality patient care.

Unit Information

• Location: Englewood, CO
• Unit: Cath Lab
• Type of Equipment: GE, Phillips, Carto, MACLab, Cardiolab
• EMR System: Meditech

Typical Hiring Profile

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 6 months’ current acute care hospital experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• BLS & ACLS Certification
• ARRT (R) Certification
• RCIS or RCES Certification
• Candidates with RCIS or RCES must be willing to apply for registration as a Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado prior to starting work

Preferred Skills:

• ARRT (CI) or (CV) Certification
• Experience in Interventional Radiology (IR)
• Electrophysiology (EP) experience, specifically with stimming

Procedures Performed

Typical procedures conducted in the unit include:

• Left Heart Catheterization (LHC)
• Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
• Complex PCI
• Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
• Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO) Closure
• Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion (LAAO)
• Renal Denervation
• Pulmonary Embolism (PE) & Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) Thrombectomy
• Electrophysiology (EP) Ablations
• Device Implantations
• Peripheral Procedures

Work Environment & Schedule

The Cath Lab Technologist position involves a schedule of 4x9 hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week. There may be additional opportunities for covering shifts as needed.
