Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated CT Technologist with a minimum of one year of experience, preferably with pediatric patients. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services to patients aged 0-18 years, addressing various diagnoses and conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout the imaging process.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to required safety protocols and standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care.
• Multitask effectively and manage time efficiently in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Current licensure and certifications: ARRT - CT, BLS, and Washington state license.
• Experience with pediatric patients is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Work Schedule

The position requires flexibility for weekend rotations and possible on-call responsibilities limited to off-hours and weekends, not exceeding 24 hours per month.

Work Environment

This role is situated in a newly constructed Level II trauma facility, providing a modern and supportive work environment.

Technology/Equipment

The successful candidate will utilize Siemens Definition Edge and Biograph mCT Flow Edge (PET/CT scanner) technology.
